The blu-ray drive is so slow on the ps3 they had to duplicate data and have mandatory installs to cut down on the loading times.

In theory, Blu-ray sounded great. But in reality, sony gave yall a piece of shyt drive that wasn't adequate for gaming. If the BD drive in the ps3 was faster, then it could read games fast enough to take advantage of the tech.

Skyrim has a 5.5gb mandatory install
RAGE has a whooping 8gb mandatory install (no install required for xbox versions of any game except Halo 4's 2gb mandatory install)

You seem to not understand why ps3 has installs at all. Its cuz your BD drive sucks. You didn't understand why the 720 will have installs.

Who cares. People complain about next gen consoles that require internet, installing games, and eliminate the used market and say they will move over to the PC where you have to install games, there is no used market, and a lot of the games require internet.

Mandatory installs is a EXCELLENT thing as i repeated before because of the fill rates caused by the speed of the slow ass BD. suspend/resume will be possible with installs

Mandatory kinect im assuming its for the OS i could care less next

always online it never said nothing about games, it would say MANDATORY online to play just like it used the word Mandatory before.

always online is just like the ps4 instead the next xbox has the ability to suspend games and play others at the same time.

Then when the 360 came out, they made all that shyt part of the Xbox itself instead of something developers would have to implement into games
Then M$ put a patent on these features.

Sony never gave a shyt about any of this type of stuff. So they didn't have it
When they tried to copy like they do, the ran into patents that made them lean (Tru Story)
They found a loophole where developers could still include the features if they code it themselves via the game/software.
The ps3 itself can't do this, only via devs. Dev's feel its too much work/money to put the feature in, they said this to Microsoft during the xbox 1 era

M$ only put this patent on home consoles, thats why the ps vita has these features cuz its not a home console. The ps4 can't have it either, so what they doing is including watching somebody else play. Then you can talk via that. I don't think cross game chat will be included, just cross chat while viewing.
