I liked the transition in this video from Vice City Stories to Vice City.
I kind of wish Rockstar would remaster Vice City Stories and Vice City into one game, similar to what they could have done for Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2.

Yeah I made a comment like this in another thread if they remade vice City, you'd play as Vic a day before the deal with Tommy, it'd Serve as a tutorial and then he dies and it switches over to the first mission of VC.

I just want origins someday. Like 19 year old CJ in Liberty City ‘87, depict the family before and right after Brian.
Maybe play as young Sweet same time but in SA. Show the grove at its peak taking missions against rivals from Big Bear n shyt. Show how they all got they houses in the time CJ was gone and how everything pushed the bro’s to slide on him, how the grove got fractured.
Instead of Las Venturas make San Fierro bigger w/ Oakland and a banged out chinatown. So much dynamic potential within the atmosphere of the time and storytelling.
Tommy joining the mob and being a hit man before getting that hit put out on him at 20.
Claude origin would be crazy. Explain why he doesn’t speak or have a voice. Make racing his story and how he started robbing banks add a CJ cameo and have the location be him and catalinas journey to LC and how they’re gang came together(coop opportunities)
The new gen characters aren’t as deep to me. Even Tony from LC stories had a good story with his abusive ass momma trollin him all game.

Its because Take Two has pretty much made a mandate that all games in their studios to have an online multiplayer component.
I don't expect GTAVI to be better than the previous games in the series. Sure it will sell a lot due to the name but I doubt the story mode/single player will be good.
I wouldn't be surprised if the story is going to be shorter just to try and push players to play the next version of GTA Online.

After V coming off as a buddy flick I’m losing hope in the writing.
The characters had dimensions the story just loses itself in explosions. Like if they go Narcos they shouldn’t go full narcos. Save the extras for online. Like how VC isn’t full Scarface and different enough to make the references seem natural to Tommy’s story.

GTA Online and NBA 2k are cash cows for Take Two.
We were supposed to get story DLC for GTA V but it was scrapped and the content was repurposed for GTA Online.
Which is why Dan Houser probably left Rockstar since he was the main supporter for story DLC.
This is like that Lucas/Spielberg ep of South Park n we the kids tryna save Indy.

Dan wanted to do Undead Nightmare 2 which is why there are so many clues alluding to it in game, he also was making Bully 2 which was announced by a leaker it was officially scrapped sometime late 2019 and months later Dan houser quits

You will never see or hear about Tommy V in another GTA game...Ray Liotta was a major pain in the ass the work with, he ended up wanting more money and bragged VC wouldn't have been shyt without him...R* got pissed off, told him to go fukk himself and killed the character off-screen never to be mentioned again...
Maylay (voice of CJ) also had issues with Rockstar, he felt they did him dirty financially and cock-blocked him from making money with the character outside of the GTA universe (music)...A group of folk over at the GTAforums even tried to get breh to do some voice work for a mod and that was cock blocked because of potential monetization...
Niko's voice actor also had beef with his contract but that was mostly due to his union and the way they treat VG voice actors...Long story short, their contracts are structured differently than film actors and they're cut off from residual income...
