Anybody catching this show? it's about abandoned places and how they got that way. I can' t get into a lot of Viceland stuff becaue they tend to be unprofessional and immature as hell about hwo they cover stories, but this Abandoned show is pretty good.
First one was about these remote Canadian villages just being abandoned because the government is buying out people to move to cities so they don't have to maintain infrastructure (and commercial fishing is killing off teh villages).
Second one was about St. Louis and how all of these inner city neighborhoods are dying because everyone is moving to the suburbs or putting their kids in private schools. City was selling this old abandoned school for $200K
i've been to St. Louis a few times didn't realize it was that bad. They said the population is dropping like a rock.
