If he is puerto rican why cant he NOT claim puerto rico? He knows he is negrito and i'm sure he takes pride in that.

• black dominicans
• black panamanians

and so on...

In their own individual countries they associate and indentify themselves as black but are still from those respective countries so their culture will not be the same as BLACK AMERICAN culture so you cant expect him to relate to everything black american culture has to offer.

Puerto Ricans arent as prejudice ass Dominicans. There are African neighborhoods in PR where they live in total harmony. Skin color ≠ nationality.
