He became ISO Joe his last season with the Suns.Once Nash got there, Joe's confidence went through the roof.They'd give him the ball & let him cook whenever the offense became stagnant.I watched every game.He was always the less dependent on Nash.The Suns as a whole was like one collective fast ball pitcher, but Joe was the slider.At the time, he was really like a low key secret weapon.That being said, he was definitely underutilized.Pringles should've integrated him more.Hard to go away from that Amare/Nash pick n roll, tho.That shyt was lethal.Stockton/Malone levels.Plus Joe was ridiculously efficient as a spot up shooter that year.Shot 48% from three for the season.Seemed as if he was 99.9% from the corners.It was insane.

Its like nikkas forgot how wack Joe Johnson was… one 25ppg season from a nikka nicked name ISO Joe. Never fit to be the best player on a team. Despite making a bunch of bullshyt all star teams in the east because the guard position was so weak at the time, he underachieved massively with the Hawks.
Ill give him credit for being clutch tho. He was probably the most clutch player of his gen.. thats over guys like Kobe, Pierce, Wade, Allen, etc.

Man, don't gotta convince me. He was too good for the Big3 these past two years and still played there. Plenty of teams with 0 bench production that could use a guy like him, but every team wants that prototypical 3+D wing on their bench and Joe is not that. You really have to have the perfect set of players around him to maximize his skills too
