No it was not. People actually thought McDonald's and microwaveable folds were healthy. Generations of Families raised their kids on processed crap. The main difference now is people didn't have entertainment in their faces 24/7. Kids played outside all day, had gym class until they graduated high school, people walked a lot. If you wanted to socialize you have to go outside and find an activity. Cartoons came on once a week on Saturday so in between you had to make your own fun. There was no internet. You could read a book, but you had to walk to the library to get it.

In the 90s we'd play soccer hours outside. Nowadays kids would rather spend their time socializing online or sitting in front of a screen. Plus people ate smaller portions back then but they still ate like crap.

Trust me food is healthier now. It's less processed and they use better ingredients, people are starting to shun fast and processed food.

We as a country still need to learn how to limit our portions. The reason why we are fat now as a country is because 80s and 90s kids who ate large amounts of food stopped exercising once we got older and once our parents thought we were safer indoors than outside. People now actually shame parents for letting their kids run around past the front yard unsupervised.

Gym class disappeared in the 2000s. We got lazier and ate more of the bad foods we thought were good but we arent burning anything off. 80s and 90s kids who ate one slice of pizza and a glass of soda then went outside for three hours got older and are now raising 00s kids who eat one slice of pizza and another out of boredom with 3 glasses of soda while playing on their iPad for three hours.

Not to mention the anti bullying body shaming stuff out now. Back then if you were fat or goofy even your teachers made fun of you. You stayed fit to stay off people's radar.Let a teacher call a kid fat now and live to talk about it

Whoa, I think you're on the money :ohhh:

I'm a 90s kid

Is gym class really dead? Because in middle school we ran a mile tues and thurs and a half a mile mon wed fri. And yeah we would eat cheeseburgers or pizza everyday for school lunch (and wash it down with chocolate milk :russ:)

Afterschool we'd round up every guy in the neighborhood and either play basketball or football until it got dark. On the weekends we'd all get together in the morning and do that shyt for 10 hours. We walked every where too.

Yeah we had video games but aint no parents back then wanted to have 15 boys up in their house huddled over the sega genesis :russ:. Now kids can play with each other online on that PlayStation network (or whatever the fukk they call it :flabbynsick:)

Their faces were prettier than the video girls now. They were also in much better shape.

Yea i remember thinking as a kid "them booties is HUGE" :gladbron:

Now 2 or 3 of them are nice...... Even one or two would considered to have a bubble. However nobody on that cover has a anywhere near what would be considered a 2016 DONK.

I remember when Luke said on some podcast that the only reason they had the girls backs to the camera was because they was so damn ugly.

In the 80s and 90s no one wanted a big butt. Big butt was synonymous to fat back then. Curvy white bodies weren't celebrated much less curvy black bodies. In the the black community it was like a secret pleasure and I remember sir mix a lots song being popular but mostly in an ironic way. And that song was considered risqué. It gained more popularity in the 2000s, moreso than what it had in the 90s. People like to look back at it with nostalgia as if it was the standard song with the standard ideal- it really wasn't. If you had a curvy butt the ideal still was to be very slim. The butt wasn't the desired body part of the time like it is now despite that ONE song that celebrated it-it was slim waist, slim hips and big boobs. Lots of people were in diets and had eating disorders. The 80s and 90s weren't really any healthier, besides the fact that very thin was in and people did whatever they could to be and stay thin.
Idk about that I've been liking big butts since I shot out the womb. Maybe all that media shyt is true to an extent but I think big butts appeal to men naturally.

They didn't have gym class for high school girls when I was in high school, they only had weight lifting for high school boys. Plus in middle school if you were in band you didn't have to take gym. Mandatory gym class stopped after 8th grade. I saw a documentary saying that most gym classes have disappeared now. Elementary schools are dropping them too because of teaching requirements and also recess is being shortened.

We had video games back then, but you had to go to the store for them. Now you don't even have to leave your couch.
