In support of his upcoming run of shows at Radio City Music Hall later this month with Nas, The Roots, Erykah Badu, DJ Premier and others, Mr. Chappelle stopped by Late Night to kick it with Letterman. He talked about opening for Aretha Franklin at Radio City when he was 19, bombing on stage and his kids. Of course Dave can’t give an interview on a national stage without being questioned about his abandonment of Chappelle Show and his extended but intermittent hiatus from the comedy game.
