At the end of the day the possibility of the fight was better than the fight itself. People saw what they wanted to see leading up to this. Any real boxing fan knew how this fight would go.

I thought it was actually a good fight but not for the casual fan. I don't know what people expected from a Mayweather Jr fight he's not a brawler and he was able to neutralize Manny's ability to brawl, just like he does all of his opponents

I feel like it was a good fight for Mayweather himself and obviously by connection his supporters, who sensitively think anyone saying anything negative about the fight somehow has a vendetta against Mayweather. The fight wasn't competitive though nor did it ever have any suspenseful moments, and in reality it wasn't even necessarily an incredible showcase of ability by Floyd. I'm not sure how anyone without a clear bias could find the fight entertaining. And I'm not someone blaming Floyd for that (or manny either); the fight went how I thought it would've went all those years back. I didn't expect excitement and didn't get it, it's not even a bad thing.
