I was on Tik Tok and there was a similar clip to this, it was kinda hilarious to read teenagers commenting on life back then.
They were saying shyt like "wow everyone used to get along back then, no cliques," "man i wish i was a teen in the 00s," it's just funny how we always glamorize the past. I wasn't in high school until the late 00s but I remember people saying similar things about the 80s and 90s while talking shyt about the current decade.
I can't wait to see the next generation talking about how cool it was that teens in the late 10s/early 20s could turn off their phones instead of having a constant feed from their neural implants or how great social media was when people could interact freely on Tik Tok before the Great Internet Censor of 2030.

Last day of school, he was probably walking up to people he was friends/friendly with and not the next Columbine suspect and they were on camera which was much rarer back then and people would put on their best face. No reason not to be nice.
