can’t lie that part when they were celebrating on the court felt hollow w/o the fans being there…but when they did the player interviews you could tell the same emotions were there from grinding hard all season with it culminating in getting a chip…as a basketball fan, the series was a bit of a letdown but if I was a laker fan I definitely wouldn’t discredit the chip…overall that was a tough year

Grinding all season? They had damn near 4 months off between Covid shutting down the season and the bubble starting in Orlando.


It's not a fraudulent championship...it's just a summer league title played under a completely different set of circumstances. It shouldn't be counted as a traditional NBA World Championship.
