common mistake made if you know legal terms. robbery involves a use of force (like being hit or threatened at gunpoint), theft/burglary does not. if you tell a cop/911 you were "robbed" because someone broke into your shyt, they are going to say "no you werent" lol. i've actually seen that happen before.
