A traffic stop between a Delaware police officer and a black man has fallen under public scrutiny and is officially under review, as the officer can be seen pulling out his gun seconds within approaching the car and seemingly without good reason.

The driver, Mack Buckley, uploaded the video to his Facebook, where in the post he alleged that he was initially pulled over for speeding, prior to being ticketed for resisting arrest and issued three citations. He also claims he was not allowed to file a complaint against the officer after being released on unsecured bond.

Meanwhile, the police contend that he was pulled over for speeding, while adding that he was subsequently arrested for resisting arrest as well as for driving without insurance or registration. They add that Buckley was then transported to the station without incident, though now the case is under an internal investigation.

In the video that's now gone viral, the officer can be seen approaching while asking Buckley to exit the vehicle, yet when Buckley objects to that command, the officer points his gun at him without hesitation. Buckley then repeatedly asks why he has a gun pointed at him, as the officer responds by telling the man to "stop reaching for s***."

Elsewhere in the post that Buckley posted online, he states that the officer kept referring to him as "you people" on the way to the station, and when asked about the meaning behind the phrase, the officer said: "society, now go ahead and play the race card."

Supreme Court rulings in two cases — Pennsylvania v. Mimms in 1977 and Maryland v. Wilson in 1997 — held that an officer who pulls you over for allegedly violating a traffic law can require you and any passengers to get out of the vehicle.

police have thr legal right to have you exit the vehicle. However he was wrong for escalating the situation buy immediately pulling a gun when there was no any apparent threat.

Brotha was too emotional. All that screaming and yelling is unnecessary. You have no power when dealing with the police, you’re at their mercy. Just comply and remain cool.
