I always liked the song. Album was dope too. I think this was the first sign of where he was going artistically (Mourning in America Dreaming In Color). And I never thought it was tooo political. Maybe for the white people who listened to him :yeshrug:. This is light work for hip hop.

Yeah, always liked this song and really enjoyed the album. Walking Away was 1 of the ones I always loved, but there was many, Daylight was tight. Yeah, I never thought it was too political at all, I think he had a excellent stance here, going against the hypocrisy and history of slavery/racism etc. Coming from ally reaches different people, so if we got all different races speaking this kind of message is positive. I think it's just them over patriotic/racist dudes that found this offensive. It was the truth... The Undisputed Truth lol.

There is something special about Ali's voice. So soft and smooth but at the same time so powerful.

Can't wait to hear him over Ant beats again.

I like some of Jake Ones beats, I didn't realize Mm Food was on Rhymesayers. I'll have to check out the ish I haven't heard yet. Props.
