I am the guy being assaulted on the metrolink. For all of you macho men who say you would have stood up and fought back, you may find yourself in that situation someday. Its easy to stand back and say what you would do. I made a split second decision. It was three against one. If I had stood up and fought how did I know if I wound't be assaulted from behind as well. I am thankful I don't have a bunch of tubes in me in the surgical ICU at Barnes. I made the right move my trying deflect the punches and the cowards ran away.
