Now we have ppl talking about this Villanova squad being one of the best all time because they beat a team led by .................Moe Wagner

Villanova would get smoked by those mid 00's UNC teams with Hansborough,Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington

This Nova team. against Horford,Noah and Corey Brewer?

UConn with Emeka Okafor and Ben Gordon would have this team in the torture rack

Would they even match up with D Rose's Memphis squad

We don't even have to talk about the legendary teams of the 80's and 90's.

Jalen Brunson and his crew is nice but Nova is benefitting from being surrounded by a bunch of mediocrity. The skill level in CBB is trash,ppl sugarcoat it by saying the shyt is spread out. This isn't dominance by a great squad.Its dominance because everyone else is

It’s not accurate. To say Villanova couldn’t hang with those teams he mentioned when those teams were filled with fringe NBA players for the most part is stupid. Villanova is deep and talented with a lottery pick and fringe first round guys. They also play a style of basketball that wasn’t seen in the mid 2000 era.

I'm not gonna argue with you about Villanova since I haven't seen them play, but those teams mentioned by the O.P were far superior and had tougher competition

The way Villanova shoots the ball and play defense they could hang with any of those teams. Including the 07 Florida team which is one of my favorite teams of all time

Them early 2000s teams would be getting smoked from 3 just like Nova did everyone else. THis is one of the best shooting teams ever and they move the ball better than most any team you want to pull from the 2000s. Those older teams were great playing the style they played but 3 is more than 2 and Nova has that formula down.
