Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Vince getting busted open was planned. The hypocrisy of the angle was noted, as other wrestlers have been fined for blading. Batista was fined $100,000 for bleeding in a cage match with Chris Jericho in 2008

SmackDown Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston may have suffered a knee injury at last night's WWE live event in Honolulu, Hawaii. During a match alongside Big E against the team of Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler, Kofi missed a crossbody and was limping after the spot. The New Day member was helped to the back after the match.

Asuka appeared on the SmackDown brand live event last night in in Honolulu. She was wearing a sling and was supporting the team of Charlotte, Naomi and Becky as they defeated Natalya, Carmella, Lana and Tamina in a handicap match. Asuka was originally booked to wrestle in the match until she suffered the collarbone injury.

Tuesday night's SmackDown angle between Kevin Owens and Vince McMahon not only shocked fans, but it also caught the attention of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

Following Owens' brutal attack on the WWE Chairman on this week's show, Hogan took to Twitter to praise the storyline. The angle continues at October 8th's Hell In A Cell PPV when Owens faces Shane McMahon in a cage, and Hogan believes if WWE delivers the goods with that match then Owens will be set "forever" in WWE.
