All respect to Russo but it's not 1997. People rarely channel surf now, so I doubt you'd capture an audience that way. If you're plugged into social media, you can catch those must see TV moments immediately after they happen because someone done captured a gif or video and you might capture an audience that way. Wrestling is niche, you're not getting back to 10 million viewers unless the stars align and all the star power and crash TV booking will not help that.

Besides, what does attracting casuals even mean? WWE is selling out arenas, they just sold 90k tickets for Mania 39, they’re making more money than ever, what more can they do? Get a 5.0 rating? Well that shyts never happening again, cater to your base.
