What makes you think that they haven't offered him that type of money many times before, yet he still turns them down?
not sure if they have or haven't but this would be the first time they have a true star to put him against, and it would be wrestlemania, in Texas.

I'm willing to believe that they have, but he keeps turning them down. At this point, he could name his asking price and Vince would do it in a heartbeat. Thats' why I don't believe that he's coming out of retirement as he would have already done so by now.

I'm sure they offered him a heavy bag especially after that WM appearance with him, HBK and Foley saving New Day.

Actually I'm curious what he got paid for that one lol.

A blank check has always been there waiting for SCSA if he wanted it, he's always given the same reasons for not taking it :

- he was physically done after that last match
- it's the next generations turn and he doesn't wanna block anyone
- it was a perfect ending, against his greatest rival on the grandest stage

Only thing that would've brought him back is if he fukked up his money like Flair or Taker and had no choice, thankfully he was never in that position.

I dont think taker messed up his money.

It's just too easy to make a few mil a yr wrestling only 1 or 2 matches.
