– It appears as if WWE may be seeking to have some UFC fighters appear at SummerSlam after Brock Lesnar was approved to return to the UFC and face Mark Hunt in a “one-off” fight at UFC 200 in July. PWInsider reports that there have been discussions within WWE about having some female fighters appear in a segment with some of WWE’s women competitors at the August PPV, with Paige VanZant having specifically been discussed.

According to the site, WWE reached out to VanZant’s manager and while it is unclear how far things got, there was at least discussion between the two sides. VanZant’s profile got a boost after she appeared on the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars and placed second in the competition.
