According to Brian Smith of the Houston Chronicle, one of Young’s representatives said the former first-rounder wasn’t accepted and won’t be attending the March 22 event at the Cardinals practice facility.
Young had been reported to be involved in the new event by the league’s own media arm, so it seemed credible enough at the time.
Of course, the fact even the Browns didn’t want him after a short look last year should have been all the evidence anyone needed that Young’s football career was over.
