I heard this on the radio in 1999. Neve knew who it was but the chorus alway stuck in my head. I only found out a couple years ago it was the Clipse. I guess because this version wasn’t on the album

As someone who listens to a lot of Beanie Sigel appearances (from liberty bell on the clue album, the track with Vinnie Paz, the black rob whoa remix, the Diddy song with Nas on it,...and countless others), and as someone who has listened to many many who shot ya samples (Ja Rule, Jay Z, Papoose, Game and many others) I have NEVER heard of this until right now.

It's especially surprising seeing the way Beans was shytting on Tip early last decade.
