shyt makes zero sense to me. The purpose of going to work is financially support yourself and your family.

so the common argument I hear is, the man may up and leave her and leave her with nothing and zero skills. My question who the fukk are y’all dating to have these types of worries? Clearly not dating the right man, and surely shouldn’t marry him if you think he even has the slightest savage in him to do this.

Finding a marriage partner is not easy, hard as all shyt. But people are not pairing correctly, clearly, if they are going to work to protect them from their significant other.

Y’all are spending years to vet a woman, dating, meeting family, etc. just to have consuela to babysit your kids?

Define 6 figure? Because 100k ain't enough to support a stay at home wife and kids; unless you live in the middle of nowhere where COL is dirt cheap but they don't have six-figure jobs in those areas like that.

It depends on the income levels. If your partner can only bring in 50k before tax and all of that goes to daycare, then possibly she is better off staying at home.

There is a point beyond which it is a waste having one partner at home, because the expenses you mention are fixed and don't scale with income. And by having a partner stay at home you collectively are leaving money on the table.

Also, if you have family that can support with regards to child care, taking care of the house... even better.
