Virginia GOP considering rigging the Electoral College

A subcommittee already approved the bill. Dem Gov. McAuliffe could veto it, but if GOP wins the key open 2017 #VAgov race, this could pass.

Anyway, they don't need to do this. Republicans can win VA in 2020. Trump was close but they pulled resources in late September and shifted them to PA where they were closer in internal polls. And there would be no Tim Kaine on the ticket.

Instead, the ACLU supported HB 1482, which the subcommittee voted to kill. That measure, introduced by Del. Marcus Simon, D-Falls Church, would have entered Virginia into a national compact to give all electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote.

Hahaha, they know what is coming and they are running scared. How is this not "rigging" the electoral college? The League of Women voters supported this bill, too. So much for fairness.

Dems love to cheat but cry foul when others try to win by getting around their cheating and deck-stacking. NoVa outvotes the rest of the state and nearly all of them vote for more government because their jobs depend on it.

VA will go red in 2020 AND Republicans will take over the Governor's office. McCauliffe should be in prison along with the Clintons.
