Around 8 pm, go to Frenchman Street to listen to local musicians kill it.

The next morning, Go to Jackson Square for some beignets and coffee in the morning, and eat some NO cuisine for lunch and dinner, rinse repeat.

Take a tour of Treme. Go in the daytime. You can see where Louis Armstrong grew up.

Ride the trolleys through the city.

A whole lot of other shyt to do, I'll let other posters chime in on that.

for the sports bars you've got walk ons (but i imagine it's going to be busy as fukk there because it's right down the street from the super dome

they've got a few other places on fulton street but i'm more familiar with manning's because i played a few gigs there last year for the final four. but if you want to be outside the cbd and in the quarter, the only place i've been to is huck finn's on decatur.

then you've got maison frenchmen in the marigny. it's not a sports bar technically but they've got the place set up with more than enough screens to watch the game. plus, it probably won't be too busy, plus after the game you'll see me playing

it'd be much easier to tell you places to go if i knew where you were staying. the places i'm recommending are close to me or close to the action (which means it'll probably be difficult getting to those bars).

you guys aren't staying out in metairie are you? you're in orleans parish right?

Burbon St breh, non stop partying, plenty of liqour, its just blocks and blocks of shyt to do. As far the local places.......couldn't tell you.

Me and my stayed out there about 6 years ago. Had a ball out there.......it pissed me off though because we stayed out there for like 6 nights, but didn't get out till the 5th because we tthough we needed a car. Only to find out all you need is cab fare to get anywhere in that city....and with Uber now....sky is the limit.

I went in 2013 with my boy and we mainly did Bourbon Street.

Im going with my wife so i want to try something new and different.
