Just left from voting....Still got my address on file registered to my old hood I was raised in. Polling station is a church. The older I get the more I love that feeling of walking into your neighborhood polling station being greeted at the door with a smiling black face, going over to get you ballot for a black person who understands the magnitude of what's happening and is genuinely happy that your there. And most everyone understands the assignment(get these fukking white supremacist Republican crackers outta here)Especially the old heads when they see a younger black man come in there a excerise his right. A good feeling if I might say.

I've definitely noticed white poll workers - most of whom are elderly - making a scene over shyt and attempting to tell black voters they have to leave if they don't have xyz items. Then a black poll worker will come over and calmly mention the actual rules, resulting in the person being allowed to stay and vote.


On the flip side I hate when I'm in a long line and one of the black campaign people comes up trying to give me like 10 pamphlets. You know I can't bring it into the actual building, why are you trying to give me all this shyt lol.

You're lucky. I live in a pretty diverse area but I still have to vote around conservative cacs. There are more than a few Tudor Dixon and say "No to Prop 3 (Abortion rights)" signs in my area so I know what most of these cacs are on.
