Voting check-in thread

The day of reckoning is upon us.

Check in here and vote how you voted (see what I did there), or that you didn't vote. Obviously there are different things on the ballot and I'm not counting proposals and whatnot, but this is just to see how HL is generally voting. I'm also curious to see how crowded polling places are for everybody and what the mood is like.


I take no responsibility for neg trains on nonvoters or Republicans.

I'm out the door for work by 5:30 AM. So I will cast my ballot when I get home. That is, if NJTransit doesn't have any colossal fukk ups that leaves me stuck at Penn Station.

Went to my polling station at 6am, and it was packed. Never seen that many people voting that early.

Might be historic turnouts.

It's public, but you have to vote to see the results. I fully intend to shame nonvoters.

Haven't voted yet, but I'm out early from work today just for that reason.

just finished

the school was literally 1 minute down the street..took me 2 minutes to vote then i bought an apple turnover and came back home

@saysumthinfunnymike i voted mostly dem but went with Petit on my ballot because his family died in a fire and that was big for some people close to me back in the day

there wasnt really a line for my voting station but there was solid flow in and out. the machine counter said ballot 314 or something. not sure if that means i was the 314th to vote or if that was a specific number of the ballot they gave me but im sensing good turnout here

Me and my mom just finished. More people building as we left. My mom got into an argument with a poll worker who said her ballot wouldn’t count (MD uses paper and scans). But luckily the election judge was there and got her another ballot and recalled the last one:

Voted Dems mostly esp statewide. Hope Jealous can pull another’s upset.

Voted at 6am. Not sure if Liuba Grechen Shirley can upset Peter King though. The gerrymandering of my district will keep it in King's favor
