Keep in mind, it's still nowhere near the closest star.

One light year is about 6 trillion miles, and the closest star to us is around 4.2 light years away.

Had a feeling of cosmic despair after reading this:wow:

Very depressing to think about. Just imagine the vast lifeforms planets etc... that we won’t be able to see or observe in our lifetime.

Used to feel that way but I take comfort in believing that if aliens really bout it in the way we think, they might decide to bring us all back from the dead :yes:
