Kartel needs to make it more of a show..
His voice can't carry a whole concert any more.. he need to blend in other acts or just more of "entertaining" the crowd.

This.

I think if he actually more effort into the show and structure things would’ve been a lot better imo.

I don’t know if its a bands, dancers, guests acts in between his he needs but it was lacking.

Also at the show I attended the sound was awful. I don’t know if that’s down to the venue or Kartels team and their lack of prep.

He also didn’t have an earpiece in so he was off beat at times…Simple shyt like that I don’t get it.

There was a DJ on before and dare I say it I feel like Tok - Chi Chi Man got a bigger forward from the crowd than a lot of the songs Kartel performed.

No exaggeration but it felt like everybody in the venue were singing “From dem a par ina chi chi man…” word for word
The place erupted.

Now I’m not saying Kartels songs didn’t get a reaction because ofc they did but yeah. The crowd was definitely mirroring his performance at times.

I just think this might the last time of a lot of the international audience will see Kartel live in this capacity and he ain’t utilise that.

Majority of concerts I’ve been to the artist will stay usually right until the curfew…There was legit like another 20 minutes left until then.

Kartel have enough riddim to go until curfew lock off and they haffi fight him to get off stage.

It was giving I’m here to collect my money and go.

Glad I ain’t pay price that’s for sure

Which show did you attend. Kartel ditching the bands for tracks is a game changer for the better. Hearing the shell casing drop at the beginning of no permission live :blessed: I do agree with the show needing more production value. Definitely disagree that kartel isn’t a good performer. Amongst dancehall artist I think he’s one of the better easily.

No tok getting a bigger forward at a kartel show than a kartel song

You underestimate how powerful the opening of Chi chi man is.

Only last man standing, dollar sign, Brooklyn anthem(in Brooklyn) and clarks could get more forward, if executed properly.
