didn't have to become a don, but decided to embroil himself in fukkery :manny:

i guarantee you drake would've given him the stimulus plan for collabs over mavado or popcaan if he had been out. he already had a cult following in the US and internationally before getting locked up :manny:

seeing UK brehs like skepta / dave and afrobeats artists getting mainstream exposure in america now... kartel missed the wave tryna superthug it out dung inna yaad. :manny:
kartel been a don even before his don get killed

The field is weak that's why it seems like he owns it

The best artists running dancehall right now are two females

KOFFEE and LILA IKA

the dudes are all weak a bunch of tight pants wearing autotune non lyrical yardc00ns acting like RAPPERS whom lack substance and stage presence

And who are restrained from making good art with integrity because of Political Correctness and the GAY MAFIA mashing up Jamaican culture as we speak

KOFFEE is not a dancehall artiste :francis:

do you even realize Dancehall is not just a genre it is a PLATFORM..a vehicle since the late 40s early 50s during the mento days

the same PLATFORM that gave birth to Reggae and Roots Reggae...Lovers Rock...and Ska

without DANCEHALL thier is NO REGGAE

it was the dancehall venues that REGGAE artists HAD TO RELY on to buss they music before the Record Labels and Record Labels even took an intrest in

Bob Marley ...Burning Spear....the Mighty Diamonds...Jimmy Cliff and virtually every REGGAE artist got their start in the dancehall

the phrase reggae didn't even become part of the daily lexicon of jamaicans till the Toots and the Maytals put out the jam ..

"Do the Reggay" which got it's first spin as record in the dancehall venue via the Voice of the People soundsystem operated by toaster/selector Prince Buster

in 1968 almost two decades after the first DANCEHALL Soundsystems started breaknig out the speakers and hosting dances and clashes

hosted by such landmark sounds as Duke Reid's Trojan sounds...Coxsone and the oldest running soundsystem in the western hemisphere Tom the Sebastian
now known these days as Metromedia

matter of fact Danny Dread spoke on his relationship with his good friend Bob Marley who use approach him with records to "test" records out for popularity with the masses or records the label didn't approve of with Danny who would spin them pon di turntables at his dances back in the 1970s in this clip he speaks about being the first to play "WAR" by marley

matter of fact here is a gathering a of the pioneers of dancehall REGGAE speaking on how Bob would always give them PRE RELEASED music before the labels and masses got them

This guy is fukking dumb. You fake David Rodigan

Reggae music was known as reggae before it was called dancehall. I cant believe you calling reggae dancehall and talking about 40s and 50s.

In the 40s and 50s there was no such thing as dancehall.

nikka so smart he turn dumb.

We know what someone means when they say dancehall vs reggae in the current context.
