Yoooo!

I need to check out that Digga interview. I haven't seen that one yet, lol. That's my dude though, since way back. Really good cat. Wild talented!

Ace did him and Paula dirty. Which I'm sure they mentioned in those interviews. LOL!! Digga was the one that brought Cella Dwellas around too. He was taking them around to all the classic underground shows to do freestyles, before they got signed. One night on Stretch and Bobbito, he freestyled with them and had them rapping over original Bluez Brothers beats for like 25 minutes. This was like '93. I still have that on tape. Sh*t was EPIC!

Cella Dwellas are highly slept on.

I was dying for an album from him back then. This shyt was hard

SAME!!

I still listen to this joint! This was really the golden era of the underground. I used to have so many homemade tapes of joints they played on the shows, back then (which I need to digitize today). I would have to buy so many blank tapes because so much dope sh*t was dropping nonstop! LOL!! Digga was really blessing us crazy during that era.

Truth.

One of my favorite groups when the first album dropped. They had some of the hardest production for that era. Nick Wiz gave them a ridiculous amount of untouchable beats! Their debut is a classic, to me.

:blessed:

New York underground was special back then, especially Brooklyn. Lord Digga, Brooklyn Academy, Bad Seed, Thirstin Howl, etc.. Then when they started to die out, Sean Price came back and started a new movement.

Crazy that Masta Ace was sloppy with the business. If I'm not mistaken Ace wasn't a dummy. Dude struck gold with The I.N.C. and his crew was tight. It should of been a whole ass movement.

Should've been.

But dude was trying to rip everybody off in the group, except for his wife. I really think that's why dude has had all that bad karma after the situation. After his first album, nobody wanted to f*ck with him. Digga and The Inc. move saved his career. He should've done right by them. That shady sh*t catches up with you.

Copped this project the minute it dropped, and only liked a few cuts on it.

It was aight, but didn't have the magic the first joint did.

.... yeah . .. i had fukked heavy with Sunz first official album two years prior so when i seen the name of the Dwellas CD it threw me off . ..
