What the fukk, where did Malagasy even come from?! Huh how is that even possible?! Is it a minuscule number like 0.5% or something like 6%. I need answers sway

It is a crazy story. Only about 400,000 people were brought as slaves to the the USA. Only aboy 1% of that number around 4,500+ people were from Madagascar. Yet for some strange reason a large number of African Americans have a small amount of Malagasy DNA. The crazy part is that Malagasy DNA is persistent in African Americans in generation after generation.

That’s hard to believe, coming from NYC. Here it seems like it’s 75 percent immigrants.

Seems that way, but it’s not. Out of the 2 million or so black people that live in nyc, about a quarter of that is non-Ados. And the city is only about 23% black as a whole to begin with.
