Honestly both albums pretty much suck!

Production on French's album was better but the album was horrible, if not horrific!

Cole of course the more talented artist and actually the only one who can be called an artist.... I don't know, something about his music that is so forgettable.

Either way Cole wins because of a better album not because of album sales.

Villematic is the only song to me that has a replay value though

French Montana doesn't make music that people can relate to. He makes club hits like Pop That and Stay Scheming because of good feature and dope beats, but other than that, eh.
J. Cold on the other hand is a real rapper... :inlove:

Y'all do know that Diddy only manages French, and that he's an Interscope artist..

i remember telling people that French wasn't THAT hot as a rapper, you could've put JoJo Simmons on them same tracks French got put on, and they'd still be hot songs.

Its about having a loyal fan base :win:

This.

People will support singles all day, but most of the time, they could careless about who it's by, they just dig the song. Those tracks that French released were fueled by features. It's like what 50 said, you take all these cats that have sold millions and you put them on your songs, make them catchy and people will support.

But people don't really care about the artist. They just want that one joint. I respect that people have found an interest in Cole as a whole, and have showed that by supporting the whole album, not just a track here and there. You really do have to build that fan base. It's not about just havin' a few cool singles. People still want a whole project from you to ride to.
