LeBron was destined to be top 5. Nobody expects cuck KD to ever be top 10.

Because Westbrook.

As long as he's there being himself and doing anything he wants without penalty, there will be a sense that the coach lacks control over the players

That's still weird to me last night I heard

Maybe Russ was tired
It's the owners fault
Brooks set a bad foundation
It's Donovan's first 2 years

I'm sitting there like

Iverson
Bron
Vince
T-Mac
Dirk

Never got the "maybe he was tired" excuse

They never got the it was the organization fault

It's was they was sorry and was not good enough to carry a state and franchise on they back like

Magic and bird and Jordan

It has me like :stopitslime:

Shoot just this year I heard Lebron had all the power since he runs the organization so he sits when he wants and no one can pull him out the game but him and he better play as much mins possible

But Russ have no control on when he rest?

Because they both enabled KD and Westbrook and always let them dudes play hero ball. They didn't try to reign Westbrook in specifically.

Looks like Scotty Brooks learned his lesson in DC though. Offense just flows better.

Everything you see about the Thunder past 2012 boils down to the owner being a cheap b*stard and not wanting to max out Harden. To blow up a potential great team over ~12 million dollars over a life of a contract is truly mindboggling

That's my issue too

If the players names generated more money than your paying them

What's the problem :francis:

Bennett totally miscalculated the new TV deal and the influx of money that would be coming in and they traded Harden way before they needed to. They went to the Finals three months before they traded him for spare parts, they could have brought that team back together pretty much wholesale and competed again for the title in 2013.

Even if they didn't want to pay the lux tax, they still could have amnestied that bum ass nikka Perkins and stayed out of the luxury. Now look at the Thunder, 4 years later, Harden/Durant/Ibaka all gone and they're an also-ran

Hero ball is not my thing

When a see someone gunning but there is a wide open teammate under basket or a wide open shooter in the corner and still don't pass just to shoot over 2 people gets me :gucci:

No lies were told here. Before this year, the Thunder had two top 5 players and a decent group of role players. That's more than a lot of teams could say.

Can't put all the blame on management and coaching. They were up 3-1 versus a 73 win team. No one seemed to care about coaching and management then.
