It’s even better when you have multiple Apple devices and you work with multimedia.
That’s really what it’s for. Not really a layman’s tool but more for people that do work with certain programs and applications between Apple computers.
They use to have another feature before they did the airdrop, I forget what it was called but it was essentially the same but I believe you could only use it on computers/laptops. Once airdrop came, it was for all Apple products to transfer data.
I’m able to record shyt on my iPhone/ipad and transfer it to my computer in less than 2 mins and work on it with programs like iMovie or GarageBand, etc.
