Three people have been booked for allegedly raping a four-year-old dog in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras district.

The police said the three accused kidnapped the dog from its owner's house and later took turns to rape the female canine in Jalesar Road area in Hathras district, Times of India said in a report.

The police in Hathras have registered an FIR against Dinesh Kumar and two other unidentified persons under Section 11 in Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Section 377 (unnatural offence) of the Indian Penal Code. However, none of the accused have been arrested so far.
