If you read between the lines, he was being sarcastic. Look at RVD's reaction. He was like "you're full of shyt Louie"... RVD's reaction to Shane's whine-fest is further evidence.
In this particular interview, he was being very political indeed. He wasn't going to come out and say he was Kliq'd up because the ECW bums would have been furious.
