he can be corny person on the internet and in interview by being combative, and that slow mo love poetry shyt makes me
but i dont think his talent can really be in question like that. he's been around in our area for so many years that i feel like i been listening to wale for almost 6-7 years so for those who started at attention deficit might not be feeling his shyt like that. whereas for me everything is almost a hit except for the occasional misstep

it's been established people on the coli don't like wale. that's perfectly acceptable.but to act like ambition wasnt a decent album
I fukks with Just Blaze, and think he's one of the GOATs, but a lot of his beats these last few years are on some "trying too hard to be epic" shyt. The big dramatic drums, etc. It's worked on occasion (the Drake x Rozay joint comes to mind) but this isn't one of them. shyt's not wack, however, it also doesn't really make much of an impact. Just kinda there.
