He has no jurisdiction to pursue a suspected thief into public space.
He should be charged and thrown in a hole.

The ridiculousness of gun rights..now guns solve any and every dispute or conflict.

It’s an interesting case. I think he’ll be vindicated because he was assaulted first.

He will probably get fired either way, but I feel like the point people are overlooking is that he didn't shoot her because she was shoplifting or to retrieve the goods for Walgreens, he shot her because she maced him.

He shot her because he wanted to shoot someone. That's why he had the gun to begin with and followed her out to the car to instigate a conflict.

And it's the same reason cops only have hyper aggression with Black people over nothing but turn into scared dogs in actual shooting situations.
