Say your thesis has validity.

So they may apply this attitude to everyone that is black they casually see on the street.

Do you think it still holds water if they meet an African American vs an African or West Indian, based on accents, last names or finding out they are ones of these latter groups. Or how do you think they perceive it?

When I went to Germany I always wore a suit whenever I went outside my hotel. Even then people were giving me odd looks.

they were itchin' for a reason to do some sh*t but your appearance didn't allow it. These days you gotta walk around in a $5K suit with your college degree, bank statement, and a clean rap sheet in order for the cops not to pull you over for some bullsh*t.

This shyt happens around here too. The other day it was on the news a guy got arrested for running down the street. They weren't even on the lookout for a suspect. They just saw him running and thought he'd stolen something.
