I'm going to Berlin in a few days, and I got a pretty good deal on the trip.
I'm paying 800 dollars for a 7 day stay at a decent hotel, plus round trip flight.
I used to book hotel and flight separately. I would pay the same amount just to take a 3 day trip within the US.
Anywhere you want to travel, look up the bundle on expedia. You can probably get a good deal. Within the US/Canada and close Latin American and Caribbean countries are even cheaper.

I think it's American Airlines to Heathrow but I forgot the one from there to Germany
You can get direct flights too, for not too much more money
