That’s not a bad thing necessarily. This industry would probably be in deep trouble without the H1Bs. The lower skill jobs are one thing but there’s hardly many US born people, black white or whatever who want to learn Computer Science.

You sound like you work in low level helpdesk/SOC stuff. I've worked in cybersecurity for over 15 years. Damn near everybody doing advanced security development are some type of foreign whether they're from India or somewhere in Europe. Again, this industry would not last without the foriegns.

Why is that? You see a lot more people in the other engineering majors when all the jobs are in CS. What gives?
