It seems 50 Cent got this idea from Biggie's "Dreams" by name-dropping famous celebrity R&B female singers that Biggie want to f*ck. So, 50 Cent made this song "How To Rob" by name-dropping rappers/r&b singers that he want to rob. He's doing this just to get recognize and it's worked. It seems to me that 50 Cent got this concept from Biggie.

Anybody notice a lot of Bad Boy classic tracks sound similar to earlier classic soul and funk tracks? I wonder if those were samples in the rap version.

Yes the song was influenced by Biggie. Actually the 1st thing that comes out of 50's mouth is a Biggie RIP shout. The beat was produced by D.Dot one of Biggie's long-time producers. It kinda used the same James Brown guitar riff that was in "Dreams". But Yes, 50 flipped Biggie's concept with this record. Ironically Biggie's song was only released on vinly while he alive cause a his label and a lot of RnB singers were pissed at Biggie for dissing them. The same thing as 50 had mad rappers coming at him. I was dying when Pun rapped, "I rip his f*ckin Head off". LOL.

Actually breh, it sounds to me that How to Rob beat sounds more like Biggie's "Respect"
