i was at a store the other day and ended up in the kids section... kids today got screwed over big time. toys were DOPE when i was a kid. i had the ninja turtles pizza shooter.

The weeks leading up to Christmas was always better than Christmas Day. Because it's really only ONE day.

And as an adult, unless you take time off, you're working the day before and after depending on what type of job you have.

As a kid, you get that break.. but again the day itself really depends on what you got. And even then, the next day it's whatever.

I could see that for a variety of reasons less online shopping more in person, everyone watched TV beat over the head with Christmas programming and commercials, more religiosity then, labels used to put out new Christmas albums and songs
