The meta humor in this film got me dying.

The main character dynamics felt super modern.

Wesley Snipes was baller all film as the villain.

Action hold up pretty well. Had a that Marvel level of campiness without it being cringy corny.

everyone talks about snipes in this but I think sandra bullock's performance is way underrated. the film basically hinges on her ability to sell this ridiculous world and she commits completely. and I'm not even a fan of hers

Lowkey, this movie and Cliffhanger saved Stallone's career. After Oscar, Rocky V, and Stop or My Mom Will Shoot he was well on his way to being a B-List actor (which happened later in the early 2000s until he went back to A-List).

Demolition Man did 160 million which is about 290 million in Today's dollars and Cliffhanger did 255 million which is 460 Million in today's dollars.

I enjoyed Cliffhanger, some parts aged well while other parts didn't. The censorship around language I found to be funny. Also, looking back at it now...John Spartan was a character who I believe was convicted for being an overzealous cop.

Good action movie, Wesley Snipes helped carry the movie, he was an excellent villain.
