who the fukk else held down and helped push or put on G-Unit, Dipset, Mobb Deep, Wu-tang, three 6, big acts, underground, everything at once? Rival crews all saluted kayslay.

Who the fukk else never took a public L and even DJ Clue? who COULD'VE shytted on him at his commercial peak would talk to him respectfully even when beefing on radio after kayslay Clue? didn't want to see him in the streets lmao

who the fukk else literally slapped a DJ and called himself Mr. Slap your favorite DJ...and not be corny like Math Hoffa living off a suckerpunch?

Who the fukk else was a master of 2 elements of hiphop and had a prison stint in between? [there are likely some, just saying]

nobody else had THEIR LANE as on lock as slay. Damn i miss his presence in hop hop almost as much as anyone.

I been listening to a lot of old mistakes by diplomats and him hosting them was such a value add. Literally he is one of the main reasons those tapes were so hot.

For those that know, Slay was a Hip Hop legend before he even started deejaying.

You would hear his name Uptown before the mixtape run became a thing for him. Once he blew up, he would hire a lot of local people to work for him at Hot 97, just to help them learn the business and get their feet wet. One of my best friends growing up was his videographer for 7-8 years. He did a lot for the community and culture. Definitely a respected and legendary figure.
