Even if bryan never came back, the booking of the 2015 rumble match was guaranteed to turn the crowd against him decisively. He spends the entire match taking a nap (Steve Austin's words, not mine) while a very big show and corporate Kane team up and eliminate every face one by one to try forcing the Philadelphia crowd to cheer him while making every one in the match look weak getting chumped out by those two. Then they randomly turn on each other and Roman quickly dumps them. Not just the worst booked rumble match ever, but maybe the worst booked wrestling match ever. All 30 people looked worse as a result and it had one of the very worst finishes of any match ever.
