Westbrook is doing it without multiple all-stars on his team though. Defenses just don' t have to worry about Lebron on the floor you know, plus he has knock down shooters to bring those assist numbers up unlike OKC. If Lebron was doing this on a team lacking shooters like OKC then I would be impressed.
so how is Westbrook getting assists is no one is making shots. you guys are acting like OKC is running Boobie Gibson out there for 40 minutes. They may not be allstars but OKC has some nice pieces around Westbrook with Oladipo, Steven Adams and young Sabonis. Lebron would have loved to have that team back in 2007 when he actually took Boobie Gibson to the Finals...

LeBron actually played well this game. The beard just played better.

Perhaps this is the year Harden assumes the mantle of best player in the league from Bron...
Agreed but can Houston finally beat Golden State in a playoff series this year tho?

Not saying that, but the guys on his team are not three point specialist like the guys Lebron has on his team. Even James Harden has better knock down shooters on his team than Westbrook. You have to at least acknowledge that point. If Westbrook had better shooters around him he would average less turnovers, even though he is a turnover machine. Lebron still had an allstar like center in Illgauskus. That Cavs team was built on defense and rebounding just like A.I.'s Sixers that also went to the finals as well. OKC may rebound the ball well but their defense is not good, so a young Lebron would not get to the finals with a young Sabonis, Oladipo, and Steven Adams.

It's sad people don't appreciate Lebron's greatness

Y'all going miss him when he gone. Telling your kids how you got to watch Lebron play like how old nikkas talk about Bird and Magic nowadays

People know he is a great player, but we know 2 out of 3 of his titles seem a little cheap because he did not want to compete for most of them. Also he does not have a winning percentage on the big stage. When we look at all the past greats, all have won more than loss in the Finals. It kinda shows how far the league has fallen to have a dude like him as the face in where you have to question his competitiveness or legacy. You did not have to say those things about the past greats because team stacking and lining up and getting all the players you can to make your road easier was not taking place.
