Was Lil B Always A Troll/Inside Joke?

i'm not up on his new shyt and dont know what he's up to now, but I decided to watch some of his old videos and this shyt has me DYING laughing I can't figure him out, is he serious with this? it looks like some conceptual art joke, like he's parodying what rap has become.

am I correct in this assertion or is he actually a serious rapper? either way this is one of the FUNNIEST videos i've seen in a long time for all the wrong reasons. it makes me want to laugh & cry at the same time

Too short confirmed when he discovered him lil b would be trying that off the head shyt taht was wack but short never let him rap like that on the pack albums. I think hes a rap troll and it works out for him

he started off pretty much the hype member of the bay area group "The Pack" and they blew up thanks to the song "Vans"

they broke up but remained cool and lil b got on a grind releasing like 1000 songs over 100s of myspace pages that he started by himself and slowly gained a following like 6 or so years ago and he reached main stream status with songs like "I am god", "Paris Hilton" and stuff

he was the ultimate troll and would do hundreds of songs monthly, shooting his own videos, and never writing or editing or even mixing his songs properly. Dude became ironically popular and his cooking dance blew up majorly. Dude actually can rap when he tries and is very intelligent its just he took the "moment of clarity" jay-z route to a new level

but now being 24 I've come to understand his genius. He's still shyt at making music
