Don't think her performance was racist just her being an attention whore/wannabe Madonna in her hey-day. I love hip-hop but at this point you can see that it's almost nothing more than a satire of urban culture in the public's eye. For every good artist out, there's ten more out there just bullshytting which makes everyone look bad. It doesn't stand for anything anymore. It's been reduced to everyone just "Turning Up"
Its also a damn shame that "ratchetness" is being associated as the norm in hip hop, black ppl, and black culture in general. I hear some ppl genuinely defend ratchet behavior and associate it with being black as if to be proud of it

Racism often has a lot to do with intent. Since I don't follow miley at all, I have no clue about her intentions. But just looking at that video as someone who pay her any attention, it seemed silly and playful and odd that all of the dancers were black. But madonna used to have all black dancers. I didn't assume it was racist just because the dancers were black.

Why does it take a cac to be the mirror we need to see how ugly shyt like this looks? Why can't we look at ourselves on worldstar, rap videos, etc and reject that ratchet shyt outright instead of celebrating it like a culture? It's ignorance, and people are making money off it.
