How do you feel about this in 2023?
This was counter productive. I get what he was attempting to convey, but when your song and chorus is "ya'll should all get lynched" it plays right into the same hands that the "c00ns" and "bafoons" are playing into except his message is a bit worse. Why is it worse? You'll have the likes of racists like David Dukes using something like this to justify racism and doubling down on it saying even Black people agree. He and others already did this by saying Hip Hop did more harm to Black people than racism.

The chorus was horrible. I do think that’s the beauty of hip hop though artistic expression.

Shock rap, that he probably regrets releasing. History of lynching is nothing to be trivializing.
I hated this song then, and I hate it even more now. Calling for another black person to be lynched is beyond disgusting. If this song came out today it would be the theme song for white supremacists on social media.

Song is fire. I actually watched him win a 10k talent show performing this song. DJ Envy was one of the judges. Dude humbled himself and started over that's a real champion.

Well I’m a fan of artistic expression. I think the chorus was horrible and a shock tactics. But how is that any different than him saying that and another black man gangbangin on another black person?

"Y'all Should All Be Embarrassed" probably isn't as catchy, attention-grabbing or doesn't roll off the tongue but I'd prefer it. The mssg can stay tho.
Song was made with shock value in mind but you can't really look down on it while we can't seem to get ourselves away from murder,whore mongering,deviant death music and use all types of convoluted mental gymnastics to straighten out something crooked. The worship of this dysfunctional dynamic we have with the psychology of survival is ours to end.These messages belong in that conversation. Poverty isn't just a lack of.
